EvCC goes Tobacco Free Sept. 1, 2012

Everett Community College's Board of Trustees unanimously voted to prohibit all tobacco use on college property, including smoking and chewing tobacco. The changes will take effect Sept. 1 at all college properties.

EvCC is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking, chewing, and electronic cigarettes are prohibited on college property including in any vehicle parked on college property. Smoking is a violation of the Student Conduct Code and subject to fines and/or disciplinary action.

EvCC's board approved changes to the college's tobacco use policy   at its July 17, 2012 meeting, following a public hearing. For more information, read the tobacco use procedure .
