When should I apply?

Applications are accepted until space is filled. If no vacancies you will automatically be placed on a waiting list. Assignment to Lona Vista Apartments is subject to availability and eligibility. Submitting an application does not guarantee assignment to the Lona Vista Apartments.

What are the eligibility requirements for living at the Lona Vista Apartments?

To qualify for residency in the Lona Vista Apartments, the student must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age AND
  • Be a registered student with Everett Community College.

What are the terms of the lease?

Each student signs a nine month or twelve month lease agreement. Students are only responsible for their own lease.

Why should I rent at the Lona Vista Apartments instead of sharing an apartment off-campus?

The main benefit of living in the Lona Vista Apartments is that your apartment comes fully furnished. Buying the furniture and living supplies needed, adds costs when living on your own. You will be close to campus resources such as the brand new Student Fitness Center, Park’s Café, several computer labs, and the transit center.

Can I use my financial aid for rent?

Yes, once your tuition is paid, you may use any remaining funds to pay for your rent.

How do I make payments?

All payments for rent need to be made directly to the Cashier’s Office at Everett Community College. You may pay with cash, check, or credit card. Payment can be made in person, online through the Student Kiosk, or mailed to the Cashier’s Office. Please include your Student ID number on any checks made out to Everett Community College.
