Everett Community College Foundation President
Deborah Wright recently retired from her position as an Executive Administrator for the City of Everett. Her responsibilities there included oversight of the Carl Gibson Senior Center, the Animal Shelter, and Office of Neighborhoods. She was an advocate for city projects, and conducted strategic policy and technical analysis for the city.
An alumnae of Everett Junior College, she appreciates the value of Everett Community College as a higher education option for students close to home. Her work on the Foundation Board has provided her with additional insight into the needs of students and programs here, and she is committed to working with the Board to advocate and provide financial support for her alma mater.
"EvCC is a place where students can come to transfer, explore careers, or get technical training for employment, she says. "We need to do all we can to support the students here, and I'm pleased to serve as the Foundation Board president."
Deborah is an active Rotarian, serving as Club President in 2015-2016 and as a member of the Rotary District 5050 scholarship committee.
