Everett Community College is proud to share our new Strategic Plan with our community! I offer my deepest gratitude to the hundreds of people who supported us all the way through the challenging development process. On July 17, 2012, our Board of Trustees approved the plan built upon your input, a plan that answers your call for bold and innovative higher education and professional/technical training in Snohomish County to meet the needs of our students, our community, and our business and industry partners.
This plan centers on five strategic priorities:
- Student Success
- Innovation and Leadership
- Community Connections and Partnerships
- Cultural Pluralism and Global Readiness, and
- Resource Stewardship.
The full plan includes EvCC’s newly-defined Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic Priorities.
Your comments throughout this strategic planning process stressed EvCC’s essential role as a community college: to be embedded in our district communities in order to be most responsive to the specific needs of our local students and industries. We are committed to continuing the dialogue opened during this planning process, and we invite you to add your voice to the ongoing community conversation. EvCC has provided relevant, affordable higher education in Snohomish County for more than 70 years; the energy, creativity, and advocacy of our community will help EvCC build an even stronger future for us all.
Thanks again for your support of Everett Community College and the students we serve.
