Disable 'Use TLS 1.0' for Windows Vista® and Internet Explorer® 7 & 8
If you are attempting to access the GroupWise® Web client using Windows Vista® and Internet Explorer® 7 and 8, you need to do the following:
- Open Internet Explorer®.
- Go to the Tools menu item, scroll down and select Internet Options.
- Select the Advanced tab on the far right of the Internet Options window.
- Scroll down to the Security Section and disable "Use TLS 1.0" by un-checking it.
- Click Apply and then OK, to close the Options window. Close Internet Explorer®.
Now, you should be able to re-open Internet Explorer® and gain access to the GroupWise® Web access site (http://gw.everettcc.edu/).
Also, please note that it may ask for a certificate update, go ahead and click yes, or otherwise accept this. When you click on the Go button, from the main page, it may then give you a warning about security and/or trusted sites, go ahead and click Continue.
That should then bring you to the login page!
