3/4 PLAYOFF Basketball Game!! - Due to the Men's Basketball 3-way tie for 3rd place in the Northern Region, there will be a playoff game here at Everett CC on Saturday, March 4th. After going over the tie-breaker scenarios, it was determined that Bellevue College is the #3 team in the North and that Everett and Whatcom CC will play a one game playoff game with the winner being the #4 team in the North. The game will start at 4:00pm in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center. Admission is $5.00 per person 12 years old and up. Current EvCC Students/Staff/Faculty are Free with current EvCC ID - ID must be shown to receive free admission!   • 3/4-3/5 Softball plays at CBC & YVCC - The Trojan Softball Team left for Eastern Washington on Friday, Feb, 3rd to go over to Pasco, WA for a non-league double header with the Hawks of Columbia Basin College. The first game will take place on Sat. the 4th starting at 12:00pm. After the games the team will travel to Yakima, WA to play the Yaks of Yakima Valley CC on Sunday the 5th. The first game will start at 12:00pm. Both second games will start about 30 minutes after the finish of the first game. Directions to CBC & YVCC are under the directions link to the right.
     
  • 3/3-3/5 Baseball travels to Yakima - The Trojan Baseball Team will travel to Yakima, WA on Friday, February 3rd to play 4 non-league games with the Yaks of Yakima Valley CC over the 4th & 5th. On the 4th there will be a double header with the first game starting at 11:00am and the second starting about 30 minutes after the end of the first game.   • 3/1 Basketball plays final league games at Shoreline - On Wednesday, the Trojan Basketball Teams will be at Shoreline CC in Seattle, WA to play the Dolphins in the final regular season league games.   • 2/25 Final home games of 2016-17 season - Basketball will host their final home league games of the 2016-17 season on Saturday, February 25th when the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College are in town. . The Women's league game starts at 4:00pm with the Men's game following at 6:00pm. The games will be played in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center. Before each game the teams will recognize their sophomores for their hard work and dedication to the Trojan Basketball Programs and EvCC for the past two seasons.   • 2/25 Baseball plays in Eugene, OR - The Trojan Baseball Team will play the Titans of Lane CC at the University of Oregon on Saturday, February 25th. The first game of the non-league double header will start at 2:00pm with the second game starting about 30 minutes after the first. The University of Oregon is located at 1585 E 13th Ave., Eugene, OR 97403.
     
  • 2/25-2/26 Trojan Softball hosts a mini tournament - The Trojan Softball Team will host a 2 day, 4 team mini tournament on Saturday & Sunday, February 25th & 26th. All games will be played at the Everett Boys & Girls Club - 2316-12th St. Admission is free to all. The schedule is: 25th ~ 12pm Everett CC vs Lower Columbia College, 2pm Everett CC vs Clackamas CC, 4pm Bellevue College vs Lower Columbia College & 6pm Bellevue College vs Clackamas CC. 26th ~ 10am Everett CC vs Clackamas CC, 12pm Bellevue College vs Clackamas CC, 2pm Everett CC vs Lower Columbia College & 4pm Bellevue College vs Lower Columbia College.
     
  • 2/22 Basketball travels to Bremerton - On Wednesday, February 22nd, the Trojan Basketball Teams will travel to Bremerton, WA for league games with the Rangers of Olympic College. The Women's game starts at 5:00pm and the Men's game starts at 7:00pm. Directions to Olympic College are under the directions link to the right.   • 2/20 Baseball plays a scrimmage at the RAC - On Monday, February 20th, the Trojan Baseball Team will travel to Lacey, WA to play a scrimmage game with the Trailblazers of Centralia College at the RAC - Regional Athletic Complex. First game starts at 12:00pm.

  • 2/11 Trojan play at Peninsula College - On Saturday, February 11th, the Trojan Basketball Teams will be in Port Angeles, WA to play league games with the Pirates of Peninsula College.   • Trojan lose two against Peninsula 1/14 - In the league games on Saturday, January 14th, the Trojan Women lost 71-84 to the Pirates of Peninsula College. For the game, Everett shot 37.9% from the field, 15.0% from 3 point range and 78.3% from free throws. Peninsula shot 45.6% from the field, 32.0%from 3 point range and 60.9% from free throws. Game Highs: EvCC ~ Uju Chibuogwu 20 points & 9 rebounds; Lily Hilderbrand 15 points & 6 rebounds; Tyra Lopez 11 points; Kaela Tyler 7 assists. Peninsula shot 47.8% from the field, 44% from 3 point range and 72.2% from the free throw line.   • Trojan Men lose to Alumni in scrimmage game 1/7 - Trojan Men lost by three to the Alumni team in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center on Saturday, January 7th. The Alumni won 100-97. It was close for most of the game and then the Trojans got a 15 point lead on the Alumni in the 2nd half. However the Alumni caught up and then took the lead. For the game, the Trojans shot 44.2% from the field, 34.3% from 3 point range and 63.0% from the free throw line. The Alumni shot 36.2% from the field, 21.2% from 3 point range and 92.9% from the free throw line. Game Highs: Trojans ~ Gio Jackson 14 points, Kiante Ahmad-Woods 12 points & 6 rebounds; Coleman Grayson 12 points; Jason James 10 points.   • Men's Basketball lose to the WWCC Warriors 12/29 - The Trojan Men's Basketball Team lost their semi-final game vs the Walla Walla CC Warriors 83-92 on Dec. 29th at the Clackamas Holiday Tournament. The first half had the Warriors leading 51-39. In the second half, the Trojans outscored the Warriors 44-41 but it wasn't enough to over come the first half score difference. For the game, the Trojans shot 42.3% from the field, 25% from 3 point range and 72% from free throws. The Warriors shot 42% from the field, 34.4% from 3 point range and 52% from free throws. Game Highs: Everett ~ Brevin Brown 23 points & 6 rebounds; Gio Jackson 19 points & 6 rebounds; Conner Moffatt 15 points & 4 assists; Dartavious Young 14 rebounds. Walla Walla ~ Gabe Porter 27 points; Beau Tiileman 19 points & 9 rebounds; Dalton Thompson 17 points, 9 rebounds & 7 assists; Landon Radliff 13 points, 10 rebounds & 6 assists. Everett is now 6-5 overall and Walla Walla is 8-3 overall. Everett will play at 1:00pm against Yakima Valley CC on December 30th.
     
  • W. Basketball beats the Chokers 12/29 - The Women's Basketball Team got the 83-71 win over the Grays Harbor Chokers on Dec. 29th at the 2016 Skagit Valley Tournament in Mt. Vernon, WA. They were tied at the end of the first quarter at 18 points each. In the second quarter, the Trojans scored 23 while the Chokers only scored 17 to give Everett the 41-35 lead going into halftime. The Chokers outscored the Trojans by one in the third quarter, 22-21 to make it 62-57 Everett lead. The fourth quarter had the Trojans scoring 21 to the Chokers 14 to get the win 83-71. For the game, Everett shot 45% from the field, 30% from 3's and 65% from free throws. Grays Harbor shot 38% from the field, 32% from 3's and 50% from free throws. Game Highs: EvCC ~ Lily Hilderbrand 18points; Uju Chibuogwu 17 points, 10 rebounds & 7 assists; Kaela Tyler 16 points; Alexis Biggerstaff 14 points. GHC ~ Romey Begay 14 points; Alexia Thrower 13 points & 10 rebounds. Everett is now 3-8 overall and Grays Harbor is 5-7 overall. Everett will play South Puget Sound CC at 11:00am on December 30th.
     
  • Women's Basketball loses to CC's of Spokane 12/28 - On December 28th, in Mt. Vernon, WA, the Women's Basketball Team lost their first game at the Skagit Valley College Tournament. The CC's of Spokane won the game 72-59. The first quarter had the Sasquatch leading the Trojans 26-15. The Trojans outscored them in the second quarter, 20-14 to cut the lead to five going into halftime. Spokane increased their lead to 7 at the end of the third quarter, leading 53-46. In the fourth quarter, Spokane outscored Everett 19-13 to win by 13. For the game, Everett shot 43% from the field, 45% from 3 point range and 63% from free throws. Spokane shot 43% from the field, 16% from 3 point range and 71% from free throws. Game Highs: Trojans ~ Uju Chibuogwu 15 points & 8 rebounds; Kaela Tyler 13 points; Jessalyn Reiter & Tyra Lopez each with 9 points. Sasquatch ~ Bri King 24 points; Janessa Heine 15 points & 10 rebounds; Molly Webster 13 points; Cali Moscrip 10 rebounds. Everett Women are now 2-8 overall and Spokane is 8-1 overall. The Trojan Women will play Grays Harbor College at 12pm on the 29th.
     
  • Men's Basketball beats Centralia College 12/28 - The Trojan Men win 103-63 over the Centralia College Trailblazers in their first game at the 2016 Clackamas CC Holiday Tournament on December 28th. Everett shot for the game ~ 51.4% from the field, 46.9% from 3's and 63.2% from free throws while Centralia shot 32.7% from the field, 18.8% from 3's and 68.6% from free throws. Game Highs: Everett - Brevin Brown 17 points, Gio Jackson 13 points, Ryan Diggs 12 points, Patrick Deubel 11 points, Dartavious Young 9 rebounds. Centralia - Joshua Broughton 16 points, LaBrandon Price 14 points, Max Snodderly 11 points. The Trojans will play at 5pm 12/29 against the Warriors of Walla Walla CC.
     
  • 1/4/17 Men's Basketball plays at Highline CC - On Wednesday, January 4th, the Trojan Men's Basketball will play the Thunderbirds of Highline Community College in Des Moines, WA. The tip off will be at 7:00pm. Directions to the game are under the directions link to the right.
     
  • 12/28-12/30 Women's Basketball at Skagit Valley Tournament - The Women's Basketball Team will be in Mt. Vernon, WA to participate in the Skagit Valley College Tournament on December 28th - 30th. Their first game will have them facing the CC's of Spokane at 1:00pm. They will play either Grays Harbor College or Bellevue College on the 29th at either 12:00pm or 4:00pm. To play on the 30th, the Trojans will have to win at least one of their first two games. Directions to Skagit Valley College are under the directions link to the right.
     
  • 12/28-12/30 Men's Basketball at Clackamas Holiday Tournament - The Men's Basketball Team will travel to Oregon City, OR on Wednesday, December 28th to participate in the 2016 Holiday Tournament hosted by Clackamas Community College. Their first game will be at 3:00pm vs the Trailblazers of Centralia College. Their game on the 29th will be against either the Warriors of Walla Walla CC or Roadrunners of Linn-Benton CC at either 1:00pm or 5:00pm. To play on the 30th, the Trojans will have to win at least one of their first two games.   • Women's Basketball results 12/17 - The Women's Basketball Team traveled to Salem, OR this morning to partake in the 2 day Crossover Tournament hosted by Chemeketa CC. They played the Chokers of Grays Harbor College at 1:00pm. At the end of the first quarter, the Trojans trailed by three, 17-20. Going into halftime, the Chokers had a 48-37 lead. After halftime, the Chokers came out on fire scoring 29 to the Trojans 17 to increase their lead to 23 points - 77-54. In the final quarter, the Trojans were only able to score 12 while the Chokers were able to score 22. Grays Harbor won 99-66. For the game, Grays Harbor shot 51% from the field, 37% from 3's and 64% from free throws. Everett shot 38% from the field, 31% from 3 point range and 71% from free throws. Game Highs: Chokers ~ Alexia Thrower 23 points; Angela Sikora 21 points; Jaylin Brasher-Norwood 16 points 6 rebounds.   • Day 2 Results of Men's Basketball Crossover 12/17 - The 5pm game of the Men's Crossover today had Pierce College Raiders going 2-0 in the tournament with their 79-56 win over Clackamas CC Cougars. The first half had the Raiders leading 36-29. In the second half they couldn't be stopped, outscoring the Cougars 43-27 to win the game 79-56. For the game Pierce shot 43.5% from the field, 42.1% from 3 point range and 64.7% from free throws. Clackamas shot 40% from the field, 41.2% from 3's and 50% from free throws. Game Highs: Pierce - Makaleb McInnis 15 points 6 assists; Robert Rucker 11 points 5 steals; Michael Hannan 10 points 8 rebounds; Hussayn Ford 9 points 8 rebounds. Clackamas - Simon Stringer 19 points; Ryun Gibson 8 rebounds 4 blocked shots; Shawn Carson 3 blocked shots. Pierce is now 9-3 overall and Clackamas is 5-3 overall. The 7pm game had the Trojans facing the Vikings of Big Bend CC. The first half was a back and forth game with the Vikings leading at half time 42-35. In the game there were 6 lead changes and 6 ties. Both teams scored 52 in the second half, but with their lead from the first half, the Vikings won 94-87. For the game Big Bend shot 55.6% from the field, 37.5% from 3's and 62.1% from free throws while Everett shot 44.7% from the field, 26.9% from 3's and 80% from free throws. Game Highs: Big Bend ~ Jacob McCord 31 points 9 rebounds 5 assists; Jai Jai Ely 21 points 6 rebounds; Zach Shepherd 20 points; Josh Erickson 13 points 7 rebounds .   • Men's Basketball Crossover Results 12/16 - The Trojan Men hosted a NWAC Crossover Tournament tonight with games starting at 5pm between Big Bend CC & Clackamas CC. The Trojans played at 7pm against Pierce College. In the first game, the game went back and forth with there being a 1 point difference at halftime - Clackamas led 44-43. In the second half Big Bend outscored Clackamas 54-51 to win the game 97-95. Big Bend shot for the game, 45.5% from the field, 41.2% from 3's and 57.5% from free throws while Clackamas shot 49.3% from the field, 21.7% from 3's and 69.2% from free throws. Stats:Big Bend ~ Joey Andrews 23 points 7 rebounds 5 assists; Jacob McCord 21 points 9 rebounds 5 assists; Zach Shepherd 21 points; Josh Erickson 16 points; Jai Jai Ely 14 points 5 assists. Big Bend is now 5-3 overall and Clackamas is 5-2 overall.  In the 7pm game, the Trojans lead at halftime 41-32, but let the Raiders come back in the second half to get out scored 47-29. Pierce wins 79-70. Everett shot 36% from the field, 30% from 3's and 87.5% from free throws for the game while Pierce shot 44.8% from the field, 30% from 3's and 72.2% from free throws.   • 12/16 W. Basketball Crossover Update - The Women's Crossover Tournament at Chemeketa CC was cancelled for today due to the weather in Salem, OR. The Team will leave in the morning to go down there for 2 games this weekend. They will play Grays Harbor College at 3pm tomorrow and at 12pm vs Blue Mountain CC on Sunday.   • 12/16-12/18 Men's Crossover Tournament at EvCC - The Trojan Men's Basketball Team will host a 2016 NWAC Crossover on December 16th - 18th in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center. There will be 2 games a night between the Trojans, Big Bend CC Vikings, Pierce College Raiders, and Clackamas CC Cougars. Admission is $5.00 per person (12 years and older) per day; or Free for current EvCC Students/Staff/Faculty when current EvCC ID is presented at entry door.

  • 12/9-12/11 EvCC Women's Basketball Classic - The 21st Annual Women's Classic starts on Friday, December 9th at 2pm with the Sasquatch of the CC's of Spokane taking on the Red Devils of Lower Columbia College. The 4pm game has the Lakers of Southwestern Oregon CC taking on the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College. Then at 6pm, the Linn-Benton CC Roadrunners face the Big Bend CC Vikings. The Trojans face the Green River CC Gators in the final game of the day at 8pm.

  • 12/2-12/4 Men's Basketball at Bigfoot/Cardinal Classic - The Men's Basketball Team will be in Coeur d'Alene, ID on December 2nd - 4th for the 2016 Bigfoot/Cardinal Classic hosted by the CC's of Spokane and North Idaho College. The Trojans will play their games at N. Idaho College on December 2nd & 3rd. If they make it to the 4th, they will play at Spokane CC.   • 11/30 M & W Basketball games - The annual Alumni Women's Basketball Game will take place on Wednesday, November 30th in the Wlat Price Student Fitness Center. The game will tip-off at 5:00pm The Men will follow at 7:00pm with a non-league game vs Clark College. Admission to both games is $5.00 per person 12 years old and up. Current EvCC Students/Staff/Faculty are Free with current EvCC ID - ID must be shown to receive free admission!
     
  • Women's lose at CC's of Spokane 11/19 - After their game at Big Bend CC, the Trojan Women's Basketball Team traveled to Spokane, WA on Friday, November 18th. The game with the Sasquatch took place at 12:00pm on Saturday, November 19th. This game was all Spokane! At half time, the Sasquatch had a commanding lead of 42-12 over the Trojans. The second half didn't fair much better for the Trojans as they only scored 17 to the Sasquatch 30. Spokane wins 72-29. For the game, Everett shot 26% from the field, 0% from 3's and 64% from free throws and Spokane shot 44% from the field, 48% from 3's and 75% from free throws. Game highs: EvCC ~ Lily Hilderbrand 6 points. CCS ~ Bri King 16 points; Katlyn Ward 10 points & 8 rebounds; Molly Webster 10 points. Everett Women are now 0-2 overall and Spokane Women are 2-0.
     
  • Women's Basketball lose a close one at Big Bend CC 11/18 - The Trojan Women's Basketball Team was in Moses Lake, WA on Friday, November 18th for a non-league game with the Big Bend CC Vikings. At halftime of the game, the Trojans had a 4 point advantage 30-26. During the game there were 4 lead changes and 5 ties, and at the end of the 4th quarter, the 4 point advantage was the other way around - Big Bend won the game 72-68. This gives the Trojans a 0-1 overall record and Big Bend a 1-0 overall record. Game Highs: EvCC ~ Alexis Biggerstaff 17 points; Chellyn Perea 16 points; Kaela Tyler 10 points; Lily Hilderbrand 14 rebounds. BBCC ~ Madison Wilcox 18 points; Sunnie Martinez 11 points & 6 rebounds; Emily Allan 11points.
     
  • 11/25-11/27 Men's Basketball at Red Devil Classic - The Friday after Thanksgiving, the Trojan Men's Basketball Team will be in Longview, WA to participate in the 2016 Red Devil Classic, hosted by Lower Columbia College. This is a three day tournament and the Trojans will face the Yaks of Yakima Valley CC at 3:00pm on the 25th. Their game on Saturday, the 26th will either be at 1:00pm or 6:00pm vs either the Saints of Mt. Hood CC or the Trailblazers of Centralia College. To play on Sunday, the 27th, the Trojans will have to win at least one of the first 2 games.

  • Athletic Director/Men's Basketball Coach, Larry Walker's last day 11/15 - Tuesday, November 15th is a day that a Legend left EvCC. Coach Walker finished his last day of work before retiring after 31 years at Everett CC. He has been the Men's Basketball Coach and the Athletic Director, as well as a mentor, advisor, and a friend to hundreds of student-athletes and other coaches/AD's through the years. While he will be irreplaceable for all that he has done, Trojan Athletics wish him nothing but the best in his retirement. We all Thank him for everything he has done for Everett CC Athletics.   • Men's Basketball wins scrimmage game 11/13 - The basketball scrimmage game on Sunday, November 13th started at 7:00pm in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center. At half time, the Trojan Men trailed by one, 42-43 to the Seattle Mountaineers, an ABA semi-pro team. In the second half, Everett scored 44 to Seattle's 43 to send the game into Overtime. During the 5 minute overtime, the Trojans scored 11 while Seattle only scored 8 for the Trojans to win the game 97-94. The largest lead was by 12 points, and there were 10 lead changes and 11 ties throughout the game. For the game, Everett shot 45.3% from the field, 29.4% from 3-point range and 50% from free throws. Seattle shot 44.9% from the field, 28.6% from 3 point range, and 75% from free throws. Game Highs: Trojans ~ Ryan Diggs 26 points & 8 rebounds; Dartavious Young 17 points & 12 rebounds; Gio Jackson 16 points & 7 assists; Kiante Ahmad-Woods 10 points & 6 assists.
