The East County Campus at Monroe administers the Compass Placement Test. This test is not a timed test and determines a student’s level in Math and English. This is not a pass/fail test. EvCC charges a $30.00 testing fee. The East County Campus at Monroe accepts payments in the form of credit, debit, check or money orders. We DO NOT accept cash payments.

In this aviation history course covering 1927 to 1957, learn about the revolutionary changes in design, manufacturing and performance that changed the industry. This thirty year period saw wood and fabric bi-planes change to metal monoplanes, and witnessed aircraft propulsion transition from the four-cycle piston engines to efficient high altitude jet engines.

Today is the deadline to pay the final installment of the 20/40 payment plan for Summer Quarter 2012. You may pay with a credit card online through the Student Kiosk or in person at the Cashiers Office in the Parks Student Union. Students who miss this payment risk being dropped from classes and will need to pay a fee to be reinstated in classes.

This course covers system architecture and operation common to vintage aircraft produced from the late 1920’s through the late 1950’s. Learn about the electrical and hydraulic systems unique to radial engines. Classes are conducted in both the classroom and the shop. Participants will interact with vintage aircraft at the Historic Flight Foundation.
