East County Campus ABE/GED Orientation and Assessment September 11th and September 18th EvCC’s East County Location in Monroe Lake Tye Bldg. - 14090 Fryelands Blvd. SE – 3rd floor 5:00 pm – please plan on arriving 15 minutes early Call (425) 388-9291 or 425-259-8732 to sign up.
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program offers low-tuition classes for students whose are looking to earn their GED. Classes are offered in Monroe at Park Place Middle School during the evening hours.
Please be prepared to stay a minimum of 3 hours. All students must take a placement assessment to determine what level they need to begin their studies.
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete your registration and as always parking in Monroe is Free!
Because this is such an important Information Session which includes orientation and your assessment test, children will not be permitted to attend. Plan ahead, we look forward to meeting you and being a part of your educational journey.
In order to complete your registration plan to bring the following items with you:
1. Current Driver's License or ID card (not expired) 2. Social Security Number 3. Proof of mailing address, Apartment Number & Zip Code 4. Registration fee of $25.00

Compass Placement Testing in Monroe

The East County Campus at Monroe administers the Compass Placement Test. This test is not a timed test and determines a student’s level in Math and English. This is not a pass/fail test. EvCC charges a $30.00 testing fee. The East County Campus at Monroe accepts payments in the form of credit, debit, check or money orders. We DO NOT accept cash payments. Students are encouraged to have their SID (student identification number) with them to begin the test. If you have not received your SID, please contact Enrollment Services at 425-388-9219. If you have misplaced your SID, you can look up this number through the Student Kiosk. Testing may be available on other days than listed above. Please call 425-259-8731. Testing is also available on EvCC’s Main Campus in Everett. That schedule is available at www.everettcc.edu/testing

Student Activities is excited to start off the new school year with our annual Student Activities Office Kick-Off. We want to welcome Students to EvCC and Kick-Off a great year. We will offer information about what Student Activities has to offer and give students an opportunity to complete a survey for students to have a say in what kind of programming/events they want on campus. There will be FREE hotdogs, FREE kettle korn, FREE drinks and FREE live music by 20 Riverside. Formed in Everett Wa, the six members of 20 Riverside are very excited to share their quirky sound with Everett Community College students.
Please join us on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 for this fun, informational, and FREE event! Activities start at 11am outside of the Jackson Courtyard, or Jackson Center if inclement weather.

The Trojan Softball Team will be in Portland, OR at Delta Park to participate in the 2012 Fall Tournament and Sophomore All-Star Showcase. The first games are at 8:00 am, however the Trojans play Mt. Hood at 11am, South Puget Sound at 3pm and Walla Walla at 4:30pm. The Sophomore Showcase begins at 1:00pm and features the East v North and West v South.
