From Gutenberg to Google -- Is the printed word dead? A panel comprised of faculty Marianne Le (library), Andrea Otanez (journalism), Roger Berger (English), and Pat Sisneros (administrator), Emily Harrington (student), with moderator Jeanne Leader (dean) will discuss how technology is transforming bookstores, libraries, and newspapers. Sponsored by the Humanities Center, with the generous support of the EvCC Foundation. Free and open to the campus and the community. Door prize is a Kindle e-reader. Must be present to win.
