Support Awareness of Domestic Violence through The Clothesline Project.

On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men. Any person, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, culture, religion, education level, marital status, or employment status can experience domestic violence. It is our responsibility to raise awareness about domestic violence in order to end this unnecessary evil, and The Clothesline Project is one way to raise awareness among the community.

Once this shirt was completed, it would then be hung on a clothesline as a healing tool for anyone who made a shirt, as an educational tool for anyone who saw the Clothesline, and as a visual tool to remind anyone suffering from domestic violence to understand that they are not alone.
