Information for Students and Parents 

Pre-registration Requirements:
Only those students who intend to enroll in English 101, English Composition, are required to take the ASSET assessment (writing test only) prior to the registration deadline.

Students will be required to complete and sign a Release of Information Acrobat PDF Reader Icon form prior to testing. This form authorizes Everett Community College (EvCC) to share your score with your high school. Either download and print this form or fill one out at the testing session.  Bring your social security number with you.

The ASSET assessment is free to College in the High School applicants and is held at Everett Community College (EvCC). Click here for Asset Testing schedule of dates, times, and location.Students registering for English Composition I (English101) must have satisfied the placement test requirement prior to registering. All English 101 registrations will be verified for testing requirments and prerequisite score.

Registration:
The quickest and easiest method of registration is online. The online registration option will be available October 1, 2009. Click on "Courses offered at participating schools" in the right column of this page, add your course(s) to your cart, create your profile, and pay. Once your registration is processed you will receive a confirmation email. Registration for first semester and all year classes will open on October 1, 2009 and close on November 6, 2009 (deadline to register). Second semester only class registration will open on February 22, 2010 and close on March 12, 2010 (deadline).

Alternative Registration methods:
Students who do not wish to register online may register in person anytime before the deadline, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm at the Corporate & Continuing Education Center located at 2333 Seaway Blvd., Everett, WA  98203. Click here for map. Or registrations will be accepted in the Enrollment Services office on the main campus (Jackson Center) on October 26th and October 27th, 4pm-6:30pm for first semester and/or all year classes and March 2nd, for second semester only classes.

Payment and Costs:
Each five-credit course is $190. The cost for the equivalent course taken at Everett Community College (EvCC) can be as much as $405 not including textbooks. A significant savings to the student!  You may also apply GET (Guaranteed Education Tuition) funds to this program.

Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover or if registering in person we also accept personal checks or money orders (we cannot accept cash at the Corporate & Continuing Education Center).
