What is WAOL (Washington Online)?
WAOL stands for Washington Online. It is a consortium of community and technical colleges from around the state of Washington. Your books may be purchased at the EvCC Bookstore. Tape/DVD rental is paid to the cashier. Take the receipt, and your photo ID to the Library/Media Center to check out the tape/DVD set for the quarter.
How do I register for an eLearning course?
Registration policies for eLearning courses are the same as for on-campus courses. However, online students may take advantage of the several services that reduce or eliminate the need to be on-campus to enroll.
If you have not yet been admitted to the College and wish to be considered as degree-seeking and receive an early registration time, you should submit an application for admission well in advance of the quarter you wish to start classes. Visit https://admissions.ctc.edu/applicant/welcome.cfm and complete the online application process, or speak to someone in Enrollment Services (425) 388-9219.
All new students should request an EvCC Student I.D. number from Enrollment Services. For more information, call Enrollment Services at (425) 388-9219.

Financial aid is available to qualified students (for more information regarding financial aid eligibility visit the EvCC Financial Aid webpage.

We encourage students to contact the Financial Aid Office at (425) 388-9280 with any questions, prior to enrolling.
Students who receive financial aid are required to verify their class attendance. To receive verification in an online class:
You must have logged into your online class and be able to show some completed work;
Bring a completed aid form and your photo ID to the eLearning Office in Whitehorse Hall 210 or 211;
The eLearning Office will have extended hours for the first week for the quarter;
Contact the eLearning Office for extended office hours.

I have been 'bumped' off the internet while taking an exam
|
Probable Cause

There are several things that can cause this to happen. Many times, this is caused by coflicts between ANGEL and unsupported browsers.

Enable the compatability view in IE8
- Open the Web page you are trying to view.
- Click on the broken page icon typically located to the right of the address bar.
Note: Clicking this button will refresh the page. It is important not to do this on a page that may be sensitive to the refresh feature.
To add the web page to a list of permanent exceptions, meaning that the page would open in compatibility view automatically upon visiting the page, do the following:
- Click on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer.
- Click Compatibility View Settings.
Add an address into the Add this website field
- Click Add
- Click Close
Note: The use of Internet Explorer 8 with ANGEL is currently discouraged. The use of this compatibility view might not solve every compatibility issue and only serves as a temporary workaround.
