How to Apply for Graduation

Enrollment Services will accept diploma applications from students on a continuous basis. Diploma Applications are available here  or in Enrollment Services. There is no charge for a Diploma Application. Applications must have a completed program checklist (from the program curriculum guide) attached. Please allow up to four weeks for processing. Applications deadlines are:

• Fall Quarter 2010 - August 5, 2010
• Winter Quarter 2011 - November 5, 2010
• Spring Quarter 2011 - February 4, 2011
• Summer Quarter 2010 - April 9, 2010

The College holds one Commencement event each June. Some programs (Nursing, Adult High School Completion, etc.) hold separate events. Commencement information is mailed after you submit your graduation application; information includes date, time and location, how to obtain invitations, how to order a gown, and more.

Once a student has completed all the requirements and grades are finalized, the notation of the certificate or degree will be added to the transcript. Depending on the time of year, you should receive your diploma in the mail in 8-16 weeks.

You will graduate with honors if your cumulative GPA is:

• Highest Honors 4.00
• High Honors 3.60 - 3.99
• Honors 3.20 - 3.59
