Enrollment Services Announcements
Spring classes have begun! We are now in the seventh week of Spring quarter and have begun Summer and Fall registration.
Some common questions you may have:
"Why can't I drop my Spring class online"?
At this point in the quarter you are no longer able to drop classes using the Student Kiosk. You must submit an Add/Drop form to Enrollment Services to do this. There are no refunds. The last day to drop a class with a W is May 24th, by 4:30 p.m.
"I have instructor's permission to add a class, what do I do?"
To add a class now you must fill out an Add/Drop form and bring it to Enrollment Services with instructor permission. Permission can be a signed and dated Add/Drop form or an email giving permission. All instructor permission has to be dated within 48 hours to be valid. If your permission has expired you will need to obtain instructor's permission again.
"I'm on the 20/40 payment plan and missed my payment, what should I do?"
If you missed your scheduled payment then you have been withdrawn from your class(es). You will need to fill out an Add/Drop form and get your instructor's permission to re-register for your class(es). Once you have permission, bring your form to Enrollment Services and we will re-register you for the class(es). Once you have been re-registered the full amount will be due, along with a $25 fee for missing the payment.
"When can I register for Summer and Fall quarter?"
We begin current student registration for Summer and Fall on May 13th. You can check your Registration Access Date on the Student Kiosk to find out what day and time you can begin to register. If you are a new or returning student, and let us know you are returning by May 13th, you will be able to register on May 20th.
"When will the Summer and Fall class schedule be available?"
The preview schedule is available for both quarters online now by clicking on Class Schedule. The Summer and Pre-Fall Class Schedule is available now on campus. The Fall Class Schedule will be on campus August 5th.
Be prepared!
Have you met with an Educational Planner or your Advisor? Are you a Returning Student and need assistance getting started again at EvCC? Check out our Returning Student FAQ sheet. We hope this information will assist you and we look forward to being a part of your educational journey.
EvCC offers a convenient payment plan. The Deferred Payment 20/40 plan, forms are available at the Cashiers office or in Enrollment Services. 20/40 Plans can only be set up through the first week of the quarter.
What is Degree Audit?
Degree Audit is an extremely useful tool in planning and tracking student progress. We are hopeful that students will use this tool which we are confident will increase student success, encourage students to meet with their faculty advisor and urge them to apply for their certificate(s) and/or degree(s). Students access Degree Audit through the Student Kiosk. Students are encouraged to work with their faculty advisor and use Degree Audit to track their progress.
Transcripts
EvCC makes it convenient to order your transcripts through the Student Clearinghouse. Transactions are completed online and you will find step by step instructions which will guide through the process. Remember when ordering your transcripts you MUST electronically sign the "Consent to Release" form. If you are unable to sign electronically, you MUST sign and return your signature page to the Clearinghouse. Transcripts will not be released without this authorization.
Tuition Rates, Fees and Payments
Tuition Rates have been posted. The state now requires Running Start students to pay certain fees. Some classes offered at EvCC are self-support classes, these classes do not receive state funding and run entirely through the class cost. We encourage students to read the student schedule for complete details about their classes.
