Should I do Running Start?

Running Start is a program that allows high school juniors and seniors to begin attending college.  You get to be two students in one because the work you do counts towards your high school graduation as well as your college transcript.  The program is designed to get you a head start on your goals.  Many students find great success through Running Start and it can save you time and money.  Tuition is covered (see the Tuition Eligibility Section under Current Running Start Students).  You may attend classes on campus, online or at any of our satellite campuses.  Some students graduate from high school and at the same time complete their Associates' Degree!  Running Start students can participate in any programs or clubs on campus except athletics.

The ultimate decision to take advantage of this program comes down to you and your family.  To learn more about the program, attend one of our information sessions or come into the High School Relations Office (located in Parks Student Union 201 with Enrollment Services).
