about issues impacting immigrant communities, and have an opportunity to heal as a community.

Honors Forum Keynote Address: Filmmaker/Author Christian Moran

The Humanities Alliance, with the generous support of the EvCC Foundation, is pleased to welcome filmmaker/author Christian Moran, who will give the keynote address at this year's Honors Forum.  Mr. Moran produced the film, "The Futurism of Walt Disney: It’s a Great Big, Beautiful Tomorrow." This event is free and open to the campus and the community. Reservations are not required.

 

Humanities Alliance Lecture: The Ethics of Care in Tumultuous Times

The Humanities Alliance, with the generous support of the Office of the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services, is pleased to present the final lecture of the series begun in Winter Quarter, highlighting the 2017 theme: Finding Middle Ground in an Age of Certainty. This lecture is open to the campus and the community. It is free and no reservations are required. Classes are welcome.

Humanities Alliance: "The Pine Tree & the Cherry": Japanese-Americans in Washington

The Humanities Alliance, with the generous support of the Global Education Initiative, welcomes Humanities Washington speaker Mayumi Tsutakawa, who will share her family’s history over the last 100 years, including their experience during the Japanese incarceration during WW II. This event is free and open to the campus and the community.
 

2nd Annual Mentoring Conference at EvCC

Please join us for the 2nd Annual Mentoring Conference to be held at Everett Community College. The conference will focus on great ideas and best practices in mentoring. More than 130 people attended the first annual mentoring conference, exceeding our expectations. 

Early Bird Registration: $40 (Opens March 1, 2017)
Regular Registration: $50 (after March 15, 2017)

Student Registration: $25

Looking to the Future Benefit Breakfast

Everett Community College President Dr. David Beyer is pleased to invite you to the EvCC Foundation’s Looking to the Future Benefit Breakfast at the Walt Price Student Fitness Center on the EvCC Campus (2206 Tower Street in Everett).

The keynote speaker is Washington State University President Kirk Schulz.

Each guest will have the opportunity to make a gift to support the work of the EvCC Foundation.

Trojan Signing Day

High school juniors and seniors are invited to recieve on-site assistance with their EvCC application, online orientation, financial aid inquiries, and entry advising. Prospective students are encouraged to bring their high school transcript and SmarterBalance scores for advising purposes.
