The Humanities Alliance and Possession Sound Writers present a talk and visual presentation by Judy Rantz Willman, daughter of Joe Rantz, the central character in Daniel James Brown's runaway nonfiction bestseller The Boys in the Boat.  This event is free and open to the public thanks to the generous sponshorship of the EvCC Fountation.

Humanities Lecture: Ray Bradbury Lives Forever: Faith in the Stories of Ray Bradbury

The Humanities Alliance, with the generous support of the EvCC Foundation, presents Gregory Wolfe, writer-in-residence at Seattle Pacific University, who will explore the mysteries of faith in the stories of Ray Bradbury.  This presentation is free and open to the campus and the community.

Embrace your school spirit while cheering on Everett Community College’s Basketball teams! Giveaways, popcorn, and t-shirt sales will begin at 3:30pm. Saturday 10, 2015 the Everett Community College Trojans will be playing against Whatcom Community College Orcas, with the Women’s game starting at 4pm and Men’s game starting at 6pm.

Festival of Foreign Film & Philosophy

Please join Philosophy Instructor Mike VanQuickenborne for a trip around the world from the comfort of a seat in Gray Wolf Hall 284 for the first of five Thursday screenings during Winter Quarter from 5:00-8:30pm in GWH 284. The Festival of Foreign Film & Philosophy is all about introducing you to new cultures, ideas, and values. Each night’s screening of a recent film from outside the US will be followed by a presentation and moderated discussion of what we’ve just seen.
