SAMA Coat Drive

SAMA is collectiong coats, gloves, scarves, and hats for all ages. Children's clothing is encouraged. Donation bins can be found in Liberty Hall, Gray Wolf, and Parks Student Union from Oct. 30 to Nov. 10.

SAMA (Student Association of Medical Assistants) provides a place for students with an interest in Medical Assisting to expand their interest by participating in events such as discussions, projects, guest speakers and book discussions. 

Film: Toxic Hot Seat

SEA CLUB and Washington Toxics Coalition invites you to a special screening of Toxic Hot Seat. “This film follows a courageous group of firefighters and mothers, journalists and scientists, politicians and activists as they fight to expose the shadowy campaign of deception that left a toxic legacy in our homes and bodies – a campaign so cunning, it’s taken nearly 40 years to unravel.”

Marysville-Pilchuck Gathering Activity

Our hearts go out to the many students, families and communities impacted by what transpired at Marysville-Pilchuck High School last Friday.  As we learn every minute, this tragedy reaches deep into our community, for our tribal students, our Running Start students, our parents and families from Marysville and the surrounding areas, as well as many other students and colleagues here at EvCC -- Please remember EvCC counselors are available at no cost to EvCC students.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Sport a clip on pink hair extension to show your support of breast cancer awareness, pink hair extensions will be sold for $2.00 and are a simple but, bold way to show your support. Also, join   Student Programs Board and the Student Nurses Organization to get educated on how to perform self-breast exams to help monitor for breast cancer, each participant with receive a life-like mini-breast with mass to aid the educational experience. Remember men can get breast cancer too and the best chance for survival is early detection!

Flu Shot and Vaccination Clinic

Student LIFE Programs Board and Rite Aid are sponsoring a Flu Shot and Vaccination Clinic, available for individuals with or without insurance. Individuals with insurance cards will be asked to present their cards and their insurance will be charged. Those without insurance will receive the influenza vaccination for $25.00 with valid student ID (Available in the Paperclip, PSU 203) $31.99. For all other individuals without ID. Cost of additional vaccinations to be determined.
