College Access Workshop in Spanish

Students and their parents are invited to a free College Access workshop. The workshop will be in Spanish with a bilingual facilitator.
You will learn about:

Sex Week: "Let's Talk About Sex" Workshop with Stella Haioulani

The Let’s Talk About Sex workshop presented by Stella Haioulani is open to all and addresses the intersection between public health and social justice. People of color make up a small population in Washington State; however, they are becoming HIV-infected at alarming and disproportionate rates. This workshop will challenge the attendee to creatively develop and maintain resiliency and awareness through personal action and social change. Other topics such as STIs and birth control usage will also be talked about in this workshop.

Sex Week: "Sex, Intimacy, & Relationships" Workshop with Allena Gabosch

Sex, Intimacy and Relationships is a workshop that is open to all and is presented by Allena Gabosch from the Center for Sex Positive Culture that dives into the details of what sex, intimacy and relationships truly are. This workshop will teach the differences between sex, intimacy and relationships and will present a newfound understanding of those commonly used terms. Topics such as asexuality and abstinence will also be explored within the context of sex, intimacy and relationships.

Train to become an entry-level Machine Operator. Employers are expected to continue needing machinists who have a wide range of skills and are capable of performing modern production techniques and almost any task in a machine shop.
