English as a Second Language

English as a Second Language (ESL)

English as a Second Language (ESL) provides a variety of English classes to immigrants, refugees, U.S. citizens, and international students.  Our goal is to give students the necessary communication skills to be able to interact successfully with English speakers in the workplace, school, and the community.

Students who wish to take a regular ESL class will be tested and placed in a class in their level of proficiency.  Those students should make an appointment with the Adult Education office at 425.388.9291.
