Library Services for Visitors
Visitors are welcome to use most materials within the library. Some materials, such as videos*, computer resources and reserves, require a card.
Community patrons may obtain an EvCC library card for an annual fee of $20.00. This card allows users to check out circulating materials, most of which can be checked out for three weeks, and to view EvCC videos within the library. It does not include interlibrary loan or Internet computer use privileges.
To register for a community borrower card, you will need to pay the $20.00 fee (cash or check)and bring a photo i.d. (i.e. driver's license or passport) with your current address to the checkout desk. If your card is stolen or lost, please report it to the library. There is a $1.00 replacement charge. Notify the library of any change in your name, address, or phone number. For checkout, return, renewal, and overdue information, call 425-388-9353 or email us.

Equipment is available for viewing or listening to audiovisual materials from the Library Media Center collection. Most audiovisual materials can only be used in the library but do require a library card. Please do not use the equipment for playing audio, video, or computer programs from home. EvCC students have priority.
Organizations renting campus facilities can also rent presentation equipment for their event. Email Media Services or call 425-388-9350.
The Library Media Center's online catalog is available from any computer connected to the Internet. Four computer catalog stations are available in the Library for visitors to use. Students have priority for using these computers. All other computers in the Library are for student use only.
The library has one black-and-white photocopier across from the check-out desk. It requires a copy card, which you can buy in the library, bookstore, or cashier's office for $2.00.
