EVERETT, WA – Everett Community College students now have an easier way to pay their tuition.

Students enrolling for Summer quarter 2009 can stretch out their tuition payments with the college's 20-40 Pay Plan.

The option allows students to pay half their tuition by the deadline to pay for early bird registration or by the regular registration deadline to pay (dependent upon date of registration), and then pay the remainder at two later dates: the 20th calendar day and the 40th calendar day of the quarter.

All students registering for regular state-supported college classes are eligible for this program.

"Although tuition at Washington's community colleges is about half the cost of the universities, we know that students still need ways to manage their finances. If they are working, this payment plan helps them cover their tuition through two paychecks, instead of trying to make it all at once," said Laurie Franklin, director of EvCC's Financial Aid office.

New and continuing students planning to attend EvCC Summer quarter can find out more by calling Enrollment Services at 425-388-9219.
