Saint Martin’s University Offers Engineering Bachelor’s Degree at University Center in Everett

EVERETT, WA – Saint Martin’s University will offer a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering through the University Center of North Puget Sound at Everett Community College with classes starting June 2010.

“Engineering students can now complete their pre-engineering classes at Everett Community College or other area schools and stay close to home to complete their bachelor’s degree,” said Christine Kerlin, EvCC Vice President of University Center.

The deadline for priority application for Summer quarter is April 15.  Applicants must have completed the first two years of engineering classes.

All classes will be taught at the University Center’s campus in the evening or online, with some labs held at Lacey on Saturday. The program provides evening classes and is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

“We are very excited to be working with University Center to offer this engineering program to students in the North Puget Sound,” said Joseph Bessie, Saint Martin’s vice president of academic affairs.
