Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance Creates Scholarship for EvCC Students

EVERETT, WA – The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance is donating a $500 scholarship for an Everett Community College student studying in an aerospace-related field.

PNNA, a non-profit organization promoting the growth and success of the aerospace industry in the northwest region of the United States, created the scholarship to “educate the next generation of aerospace industry leaders,” said PNNA chairman Kevin Steck.

The scholarship will be awarded through the Everett Community College Foundation.

Everett Community College offers a broad range of aerospace related programs in such areas of study as manufacturing, operations, composites, precision machining, and maintenance. EvCC graduates are employed by companies such as Boeing, Aviation Technical Services and Alaska Airlines.

The scholarship helps the EvCC Foundation reach its goal of increasing student scholarships, boosting support for college programs and improving equipment for students.
