International Business Roundtable Feb. 28 at EvCC
Learn about the Economic Impact of International Students
EVERETT, Wash. – A panel will discuss the economic impact of international students studying in Washington state at 8-9:30 a.m. Feb. 28 in Everett Community College’s Whitehorse Hall, Room 105.
The panel includes EvCC President David Beyer, Edmonds Community College Vice President of International Education David Cordell, Washington State University Director of Global Services Cheryl Hansen and Kim Lovaas, University of Washington Associate Director of International Services and International Admissions.
Washington is ranked 11th in the United States for the number of international students studying here. International students are important to Washington state’s economy, spending millions during their visits and promoting our region abroad when they return home.
The presentation is part of the International Business Roundtable speaker series sponsored by the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle, EvCC and Economic Alliance Snohomish County.
