EVERETT, Wash. – Start your mornings with a workout in Everett Community College’s Weekday Wake-up Fitness Program, 6:30-7:30 a.m. weekdays April 1 to June 7.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, burn calories with Zumba, a dance fitness program that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance and flexibility through the use of weight machines, treadmills, rowing machines and exercise bikes. Finish the week on Fridays with yoga.

Wake-Up Fitness is the perfect class to get your sweat on!” participant Judith Sugiura said. “I love the workout routines, especially boot camp, because I am  getting a full body workout that includes strength and flexibility training. The best part of Wake-Up Fitness is getting my workout done first thing in the morning because it energizes the rest of my day and I feel great knowing I have had a solid hour of exercise by 7:30 a.m.”

The is open to everyone – all shapes, sizes and exercise levels. The cost is $179.

The is at EvCC’s Fitness Center, 2206 Tower St. To register, go to www.everettcc.edu/ccec and click on health and fitness, click on fitness and select Weekday Wake-Up Fitness Program.

The is taught by instructors Monica Gibson, Shallon Tag and Georgina Shaffer.
