Register Now for Fall Classes at EvCC’s East County Campus

MONROE, Wash. – Everett Community College’s East County Campus is registering students now for 35 fall quarter classes, including two new programs – information technology and Youth Re-engagement.

“We’re offering almost twice as many classes at EvCC’s East County Campus this fall to meet the growing demand from students who want to earn a college degree close to home,” said East County Director Rob Prosch.

Students who complete both IT classes offered fall quarter can earn a Microsoft Technology Associate certificate.

The campus is also now offering an East County Youth Re-engagement program for students 16-21 who haven’t completed a high school diploma or who are struggling to finish high school. The program meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Lake Tye building, 14090 Fryelands Blvd. SE Suite 373 in Monroe.

Students can register now for these and other daytime, evening and online classes for fall quarter, which starts Sept. 22. To get started, call 425-259-8732, visit the East County home page or stop by EvCC’s East County Campus at the Lake Tye building.

Students can earn an associate’s degree at EvCC’s East County Campus without leaving East County. The degree, an associate of arts and sciences – direct transfer agreement, meets the requirements for the first two years of college for most colleges and universities in Washington state.

Students can also earn associate degrees in business administration, accounting or business technology or certificates in business administration, accounting (bookkeeping), business technology or information technology.

Evening GED preparation, English as a Second Language, and ESL transition classes are also offered at Park Place Middle School. The ESL transition program teaches English skills and prepares students to take the GED test simultaneously. For more information about GED and ESL classes, call 425-259-8732.
