GED Preparation Classes - East County

Prepare for your GED® test

The GED® Orientation and assessment process is held at the East County Campus during our Open Lab hours.  Open Lab hours for Summer Quarter are:  Mon. through Thurs. 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  When you attend the Orientation and Assessment session, be prepared to stay a minimum of 3 hours and we encourage you to make arrangements for child care.  Please bring the following items with you:  current driver's license or ID card (not expired), Social Security Number, complete mailing address including apartment number and Zip Code and $25.00 for registration. Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Students can prepare for the GED® test or improve English and/or math skills in GED® classes which meet each quarter at Park Place Middle School. The cost for GED® classes is $25 per quarter. Make payment by check, money order, credit or debit card. Waivers may be available.  Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday, 6:00 - 8:50 p.m. at Park Place Middle School, Room A-4, 1408 West Main Street, Monroe. When you are ready to take your GED® test you can test right at the East County Campus.
