TEA Program and Services

The Program objective is to increase the number of teachers of color in local K-12 school districts. The program targets low-income and minority students living in Everett, Marysville and Monroe who aspire to become teachers. TEA Program services include:

  • Outreach
  • Advocacy
  • Mentoring
  • Career, academic, and transfer advising
  • Assistance w/financial and/or scholarship
  • Orientation
  • University tours
  • Peer support
  • Social justice and diversity seminars
  • End of year celebration
