I am usually available for advising, but as a full time instructor, I don't spend a lot of time in the office and will not be in during the summer. However, if you send me an email, I will respond and would be happy to see whether I can assist you with your plans that way.
My area of interest is the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Curriculum, which was developed to contain modules in fabrication & welding, precision machining, composites materials and processes, as well as Computer Aided Design (both 2D and 3D CAD) - these classes have been on-going for several years now. Our Precision Machining module has been revised to match common state curricula and was re-launched in March 2012. For credit college classes in machining began last summer.
Whether you are seeking one or two very specific skills enhancing classes, a selection of classes for a certificate, or a structured group of courses leading to a degree, we recommend you consult with a college advisor (like me!). Curriculum guides have been prepared and are available by going to the links shown to the right - a more complete list of advisors is contained in each of these guides. Note that these are "PDF" files and that you will be able to print copies from them.
