Student snags Japanese award

Snyder was awarded the 2006 Japanese Government Undergraduate Student Scholarship, thus becoming the

Remembering an EvCC friend

On April 3, an EvCC student died in a motorcycle accident near campus.

Tony Hull, 18, was enrolled in welding classes and participated in the Youth Reengagement Program (U3). He was planning to get his high school diploma as well as an associate’s degree in technical arts.

“It happened so fast that he did not feel pain but died doing what he wanted to do, having a good time,” said Don Hornbaker, Tony’s father. (Full Story)
