Charlie Earl has the prettiest view on campus. From his stately oak desk and high backed manager's chair, Everett Community College's president oversees everything on campus--literally. At first glance, Earl is slightly intimidating. His finely tailored suit and tall frame are a potent combination. But mention EvCC and he'll soon relax into an easy smile.

“Dare to dream,” the theme for this year’s Students of Color Career Conference, covered EvCC’s campus on Jan. 13 with more than four hundred attendees.

This conference gave high school and middle school students from Snohomish County the opportunity to speak with colleges, faculty and EvCC students, listen to success stories and win door prizes.
