Local Civil Rights Leader Speaks

The Reverend Dr. Samuel Berry McKinney, formerly the head
of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Seattle, spoke Wednesday in the Parks student Union MPR in honor of Black History Month. McKinney has been a leader in the civil rights movement for the past 40 years. (Full Story)

Awareness Day At EvCC

Everett Community College held its annual mega event of Campus Awareness Day, the Valentine’s Day Extravaganza and National Condom Day celebration Tuesday in the MPR.

EvCC begins hunt for new president

The process of finding a new president has begun. Meetings are being held regarding what Everett Community College wants to see in our new president. Open forums took place during the second week of February in the Olympus Board Room. (Full Story)

How well is the Cascade Range Cafe serving EvCC?

Approximately 1500 people buy snacks and meals from the Cascade Range Café every day. The average student spends $1.20 and the average staff member spends $3.50 per meal. (Full Story)
