Storm
sculpture

Tu Anh Le (Julian)

As my first project in the 3D Design class, this sculpture conveyed my idea about a wrapping act. Wrapping is not just to cover the object's original surface, but to me, is to totally transform the object and disguise its character. Observing a pitcher, my mind connected with images of water, its fluid flow, ocean crests. Grey is my arbitrary color reflecting the restless emotions deeply obsessed in my mind when this piece was created. Ultimately, I love this piece simply because of its delicate fluidity and elegant flow spiced with a touch of drama.
