How to Get Started in Tribal Enterprise Management
Welcome to the website of an innovative and active program!
The Tribal Enterprise Management Program focuses on career preparation related to the growth of the hotel, casino and resort employment opportunities on the Tulalip reservation. The Tribal Enterprise Management program is contracted for and solely funded by the Tulalip Tribes. Entry to the program is restricted to Tulalip tribal members and other Native Americans.

If you do not wish to wait for the next information session, or if the times and location of testing, advising and registration are not convenient for you, you are welcome to follow the entry procedures on campus:
- First, you may apply for admission online or you may print the application from the web and mail it to us. Click here to find out how to apply. Applications are welcome from persons age 18 and older.
- Second, if you need financial assistance to cover your college costs, begin the financial aid application process. If you expect to receive tribal tuition assistance, make arrangements now and submit the tribal program voucher form at the time you register.
- Third, take the placement test. This is not a pass/fail test; it helps us understand which classes are best for you. Click here for placement test times. See "More about Testing" below.
- Fourth, you will receive registration information from Enrollment Services. You may participate in orientation, advising and registration activities on campus, or you can do so through the information sessions at Tulalip.
More about Testing
In general, a skills assessment is required for the Tribal Enterprise Management program so that we know which classes are best for you when you start. All new students are required to complete placement testing (ASSET or COMPASS) in reading, writing and math. Don't worry! This is not a pass-fail test that could keep you out of college. Your test results help us place you in the correct level of class so that you have the best chance of success. We offer this placement test during our One-Stop sessions at Tulalip, as well as on-campus. Please bring a $30 check, payable to EvCC, which is required before the placement test may be taken. You may qualify for a test fee waiver if you are a member of the Tulalip Tribes or an employee of the Tulalip Casino.
Members of the Tulalip Tribes and related family members may be eligible for tuition assistance. Eligibility is determined at the time of registration. Employees of tribal enterprises may find that their employer will cover all or part of their tuition. Financial aid is also available to eligible students. Students are responsible for verifying their method of payment through financial assistance, their employer, or through their own funds at the time of registration.
