This cooperative program enables students who live in the Everett vicinity to apply for admission to a 21-month fulltime program in RT, including the specific RT classes and clinicals. Successful completion results in an Associate in Applied Science awarded by Bellingham Technical College. Program graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Successful performance on the exam results in national certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Students accepted into Bellingham Tech’s Radiologic Technology program will receive academic and clinical education through a variety of learning technologies. Coursework will be delivered using the Internet, CD, computer lab activities, video conferencing, radiology lab activities, and the traditional classroom. Clinical education will be provided in a variety of settings and prepare the student for work as an entry-level radiologic technologist.

In general, the classes and clinicals will be scheduled in the Everett and Seattle area, as well as periodically at Bellingham Technical College, at different times during the quarter, and over the Internet.

For program costs please check the Bellingham website. Students may apply for financial aid. Prospective students should be aware that outside employment is discouraged because of academic pressures and the necessity of practical experience during a variety of shifts.
