Application Deadlines and Process
Application and admission to the Nursing Process is a separate procedure from application to the college. Students are selected for the Nursing Program each academic quarter: fall, winter, spring. Only applicants who submit complete applications are considered for acceptance into the program. Nursing application deadlines apply to all entering students. Applications, and all application materials, must be received (postmarked) by the close of the business day:
- Fall Quarter – April 15
- Winter Quarter – October 15
- Spring Quarter – January 15
 Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and are processed immediately following a deadline date.
After attending an Information Session, complete the Personal Information Form – Nursing Application Part 1 and submit to the Nursing Records Office. This form establishes a file for you and provides a receptacle for safekeeping of your transcripts and communication with the Nursing Admissions Committee and Nursing Advisors.
Two quarters prior to your anticipated entry into the Nursing Program, complete an Intention to Enter the Nursing Program – Application Part 2. This form provides a means for you to communicate to the Nursing Admissions Committee the efforts you have taken to prepare for admission to the Nursing Program as well as your plan for completing your outstanding requirements. Both forms are required for entry into the Nursing Program.
