Engineering Outcomes
The Engineering Department supports the college-wide Core Learning Outcomes, in addition to promoting the following program-specific outcomes:
- Apply quantitative analysis to solve problems: students will use algebra, trigonometry, geometry and calculus to solve scientific problems; analyze and predict outcomes from graphical data; and use and convert between scientific units of measure.
- Perform engineering calculations: students will perform basic design and analysis calculations that demonstrate readiness for upper division study in their technical discipline. Students will implement problem solving algorithms using appropriate software tools.
