Curriculum Guide for Criminal Justice 

Everett Community College’s Criminal Justice Program began in the 1970’s when it was selected to serve as one of the academies for the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. The criminal justice program continued after the State of Washington consolidated the basic law enforcement training in Seattle and Spokane. The new focus was providing continuing education for students interested in criminal justice as a career; current criminal justice employees seeking to enhance their education; and as a hub for satellite training for law enforcement agencies in the area. The program also provided training for park rangers. 

The program currently offers three courses of study.  They include Criminal Justice Associate in Arts and Sciences degree, a two-year ATA in Law Enforcement  and an ATA in Corrections . For specifics in each area click on the degree option.
