General Information about Geography
Geography is a multi-disciplinary science that provides us with tools to interpret the world around us. It is about understanding patterns of human and natural activity.
At Everett Community College the geography program allows students to pursue their interests in human, physical/environmental, or technical geography including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) while developing broad-based analytic skills that will prepare them for careers and further education at 4-year institutions and graduate schools. The applications are as unlimited as the personalities and interests of students taking the courses.
