Fall 2011 Theme: Islam in America: Common Ground
We explored additional facets of last year's theme.
Winter/Spring 2012 Theme: Revolutions
- We started with a closer examination of revolts and revolutions across the Middle East.
- We included other current and historical political revolutions
- We explored revolutionary social changes (for example, civil rights, gay marriage, sustainability)
- We moved on to a wider exploration of revolutions in science and knowledge (Kuhn's "paradigm shift")
- We considered revolutions in art, music, literature, and other Humanities.
