Course Competencies
High School Faculty
- Identify technical course(s) for articulation such as Computer Applications, Welding, CAD, Small Business Management or Beginning Web Pages.
- Contact Sheila Dunn, East County Tech Prep Director at (425)239-8017 to see if college has comparable course.
- Compile list of competencies/student learning objectives taught in high school class.
- Contact college faculty to discuss competencies and see if there is a match between high school course and college course.
College Faculty
- Meet with high school faculty to determine if college and high school course competencies match.
- When both high school faculty and EvCC faculty agree on competencies, EvCC faculty contacts the dean overseeing Tech Prep to process appropriate paperwork for an agreement.
- Sign and send agreement to high school Career and Technical Education Director for signature.
