TRIAD II/Advanced Manufacturing Grant 

TRIAD - WeldingFree Tuition and Books for Advanced Manufacturing Students!

Everett Community College, and its Snohomish County workforce and education partners have received a three-year, $2 million dollar, TRIAD II grant from the United Stated Department of Labor. The grant is part of a U.S. job training initiative to prepare workers for new job opportunities in high growth sectors of the American economy.

The training will produce 600 new graduates in advanced manufacturing fields with an Applied Technology Associate (ATA) degree, specialty certificate, or Associate of Applied Science – Transfer (AST) degree.

Choose from Ten Programs: Degrees & Certificates Available

Students can use TRIAD grant money to help them earn a degree or certificate in the following:

Programs available at Everett Community College: Funding for Triad II at EvCC has been exhausted.

Programs available at Edmonds Community College:Funding is still available.

  • Aerospace Manufacturing
  • Composites Technician
  • Manufacturing Prep
  • Materials Science
  • Project Management 

Who Qualifies?

Funding for up to $5,000 in tuition and books is available to students who are learning job skills for the first time AND employees who are currently working and want to improve their skills. Students at all income levels are encouraged to apply.
