International Students Application Process
How to Apply
International Students should start the application process at least three months in advance of the date they intend to enter the US. Students may apply for Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring Quarter.
- Submit an international student application form, available from the Enrollment Services Office, or by downloading International Student Application
. A US $40 application fee is required. Please attach a US $40 check or money order to your application. The application fee is also payable by credit card. Please print the credit card authorization form . Complete this form and enclose it with your application.
- Submit official transcript(s) of courses and grades from secondary school (high school) and from college or university, if attended. To be considered for admission, the transcript must show courses and grades that indicate an ability to pursue college-level coursework. Normally, a minimum C average (or equivalent) meets our criteria. Transcripts should include an English translation. (Click here for more information about our High School Completion

- Submit financial documentation demonstrating an ability to pay for the full costs of education and accommodation in the US while a student: Cost and Estimated Expenses.
- Submit TOEFL results, if taken. EvCC does not require the TOEFL, but it is helpful in determining your language level. Students who have taken the TOEFL or IELTS may be placed in the class indicated on the Placement Chart
, or may take our campus-based placement test. Students who do not have a TOEFL or IELTS score will take our campus-based placement test to determine their course placement. Students with low English skills will be placed in intensive English classes during their first term(s).
- If you are an International Student currently attending college in the United States and you wish you transfer to EvCC you should complete the Transfer Verification Request Form

Admitted students will be sent a letter of admission, an I-20, and more information about arrival, homestay, orientation, etc. View the upcoming Important Dates.
Students who are admitted will be asked at the time of their arrival to submit a copy of their personal health and accident insurance policy. Insurance is required in order to register for classes. (Students who plan to drive a car in the US must also carry an additional auto insurance policy.)
Everett Community College is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students.
