Basic Food and Employment Training (BFET)

Assists food-stamp-eligible students with childcare, books and some emergency support services while attending Everett Community College. Tuition assistance is available for students ineligible for federal financial aid. Students receive additional job search and placement assistance while completing their program. BFET students do not have to be a parent to qualify. All students must be receiving foods stamps to participate.

Who Qualifies?

You could be considered for eligibility for the BFET program if:

  • You are receiving Food Assistance or qualify for Food Assistance (application assistance available) *and*
  • Meet income guidelines:
