Additional Scholarship Groups
AES Engineers 
The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. AES Engineers belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. Scholarship of $500 will be awarded based on character, as determined by evaluating the answer to one of the essay questions submitted. You are not required to be enrolled in Engineering courses to be eligible. Click here for additional information. Deadline for entry is October 4, 2013.

Argosy University, Seattle
Argosy University, Seattle is offering the Future Leaders Scholarship for the 2012-13 academic year. Applicants must have completed an associate's degree and must meet the admissions requirements of Argosy University. Click here for additional information.

Awards for Young Artists

Ayn Rand Essay Scholarships 
BECU Foundation Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students May 31 of each year for the upcoming academic year. Scholarships are accepted January 1-March 31 each year. Students may attend any university, college, community college or technical college. Selection will be based on community/school involvement, leadership and academic achievement.

Beyond Dreaming Scholarship
Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation 
Annually awards 400 scholarships, of $1,000 and $2,000, to students attending two-year higher-education institutions granting terminal degrees.
Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation Scholarships 
Up to $3,500 scholarships. Must fill out FAFSA prior to application review.

Go! Overseas
Go! Overseas
is proud to support international education through scholarships available to students participating in study abroad programs. Scholarships are awarded each academic year. The scholarship is awarded based on the creativity and analytical thinking displayed through writing samples and/or video submissions.
Our largest scholarship is $1,000 and further information related to the application process can be found on the Go! Overseas website.
Great Lakes National Scholarship 
The scholarship is for new and continuing students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) disciplines. Students may be eligible to receive a $2,500 scholarship. Click here

Martin Achievement 
Martin Achievement Scholars may receive $5,000 in support for their second year in community college and up to $6,000 per year for three years at UW. Awarded on a competitive basis, the Martin Achievement Scholarship recognizes promise and accomplishment in academics, leadership, or contributions to the community.
Martin Honors 
Martin Honors Scholars may receive $6,000 per year in support for up to three years at UW. Awarded on a competitive basis, the Martin Honors Scholarship recognizes outstanding accomplishments in academics and leadership, a strong record of community involvement, and a clear sense of purpose. Candidates need not have formally applied to UW to submit applications for the Martin Honors Scholarship. Actual award, however, will depend on admission to UW.
NACME Scholarship Program 
One of the nation's largest private source of scholarships for African American, American Indian, and Latino women and men in engineering.
PUD Discounted Electrical Service
Snohomish County PUD offers discounted electrical service of up to 60% off for its low income customers. If you are receiving financial aid there is a good chance you qualify. Anyone with a PUD account in their name can apply. Applications are accepted October through June each year.

The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund 
This scholarship fund erected after 911 for those individuals who are children of those killed or disabled in these attacks. Scholarship awards of up to $2,500 per applicant, per school year, may be renewed annually, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

United Way - 211 Help
Have you heard of 211? It is a service offered by United Way. You just dial the number 211 and they can refer you to different community services like housing assistance, job training, food banks etc.
“Unmet Need” Scholarship Program 
Open to families with a combined income of $30,000 or less and has awards arranging from $1,000 to $3,800 to complement financial aid awards.

The Washboard
