Fitness Center
EvCC's 49,000 square foot Fitness Center is located at 2206 Tower St., near the Everett Transit Center’s College Station and EvCC’s main campus. Construction started in August 2009 and was completed in early January 2011.
The $19.5 million center includes classrooms for physical education and health programs, a gym with retractable bleacher seating for 2,250, a cardio and free weight training room, a climbing wall, running track, a multi-purpose small gym and offices for faculty and staff. The center also includes space for intercollegiate athletics and activities.
Regular Spring Building Hours
- Monday - Friday: 6 am - 9 pm
- Saturday: 8 am - 12 pm
During those hours, the center's basketball court, cardio and weight room, and other spaces may be unavailable due to use by classes or athletic events. Please check the Intramural Hours for specific times. The running track (except during events), climbing wall and second floor open equipment area is always available when the Fitness Center is open.
Use
Current EvCC students, faculty, staff and community can use the Fitness Center. The center is now open for general community use.
Community: To purchase a quarterly sticker, go to the EvCC Cashier's Office in Parks 201. The quarterly cost is $99. You will receive a pass and sticker which you must wear in order to use the facility.
Alumni: To purchase a quarterly sticker, go to the EvCC Cashier's Office in Parks 201. The quarterly cost is $70. You will receive a pass and sticker which you must wear in order to use the facility.
Students must present current EvCC student identification to use the center. To get your free student ID or quarterly sticker, go to the Paperclip in the Parks Student Union. Students pay for use of the gym through the Student Campus Enhancement Fee, which you pay after you register for classes. There is no additional charge to use the center.
Faculty and staff must present their EvCC identification with a Fitness Center sticker for the current quarter. To purchase a quarterly sticker, go to the EvCC Cashier's Office in Parks 201. The quarterly cost is $25 per each Faculty, Staff, Spouse or Significant other, or Children (16 or older).
