Student Leadership Positions: More than JUST a Job!
Many opportunities in Student Activities are year-long student positions and are only open for application during specific quarters (Fall or Spring). However, other opportunities are available on a continuous basis (applications accepted year round). Look below for brief job descriptions and to see when the position(s) you are interested in will be open for application!

Executive Council (ASB Student Government)
- Associated Student Body President
Chairs Executive Student Council and Student Senate. Coordinates the appointment process for students on ASB and College committees. Liaison to Student Senate, the college administration and the Board of Trustees. (open Spring Quarter)
- ASB Vice President of Public Relations
Chairs the Graduation Committee. Assures media coverage for all Student Activities events and functions. Coordinates ASB Senate Information Table and Jingle Jam. (open Spring Quarter)
- ASB Vice President of Administration
Serves as a recorder for the Executive Council and Student Senate. Chairs the Associated Students Constitution Committee. Coordinates the Student senate "self election" process. (open Spring Quarter)
- ASB Vice President of Budget and Finance
Serves as chair for the ASEvCC Services and Activities Fees Budget Committee which develops the annual budget according to the ASB Finical code Budget Development Process and processes all S & A fees budget requests. (open Fall Quarter)
- ASB Vice President for Clubs
Organizes and coordinates the Club Council which meets once a month. Coordinates, plans and implements Campus Awareness Day once a quarter for EvCC students. (open Fall Quarter)
Student Programs Board
- Student Programs Board Manager/Artist & Lecture Series Coordinator
Chairs all Program Board meetings. Assists Program Manager with selection, coordination and implementation of Artist & Lecture Series. Assists all Programs Board Coordinators with their events and activities. Attends all Board programmed events. Preferred Qualification: Previously served on Student Programs Board. - The Paperclip Manager/Recreation Coordinator
Assists with the operation of the Paperclip located in the Parks Student Union. Works as a coordinator of the Paperclip staff in maintaining and monitoring work schedules and job responsibilities. Also responsible for coordinating one Recreation Awareness Day per quarter and one-two other recreation activities. (open Spring Quarter)
- Health and Wellness Coordinator
Coordinates, plans and implements Health and Wellness speakers, programs and awareness activities. Also coordinates a quarterly Blood Drive and Health and Wellness Fair for EvCC students. Maintains the Health and Wellness Corner. (open Spring Quarter)
- Special Events Coordinator
Plans and coordinates Special Event programs each quarter including comedians, panel discussions, charitable drives and any events related to current, timely issues. (open Spring Quarter)
- Fine Arts/Lecture Series Coordinator
Coordinates, plans and implements a lecture/fine art series which is primarily involved in the programming of diverse speakers around topics such as political, social and topical issues, as well as performances in literature, arts, theatre, and dance. (open Spring Quarter)
- Concerts Coordinator
Coordinates, plans and implements a Concert Series which is primarily concerned with the programming of all aspects of artistic and culturally diverse music. (open SpringQuarter)
Student Activities Office
- Student Activities Office Assistants
Performs a variety of clerical and receptionist tasks as assigned for Student Activities Office.

The Paperclip
- The Paperclip Staff
Assists with the day to day operation of The Paperclip, a service center provided for EvCC students by EvCC students. The Paperclip is where you go to obtain your student/staff photo id, rent a locker or just need a cool place to study! (We accept applications year round for these positions)
Student Senate
- Student Senator
The Student Senate is the student legislative body and student forum for the Associated Student Body. To become a Student Senator, you must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, and maintain a minimum quarterly and cumulative GPA of 2.5. To find out more information on how to become a Student Senator, pick up materials at the Student Activities Office or the Executive Council Office (Parks 209). (open year round).
Publicity Services
- Student Graphic Designer (1)
Produces promotional and informational material in support of events and programs that are part of Student Activities Office. Additional minimum qualifications: Experience in desktop publishing, InDesign and Photoshop. (open when new designer needed)
- Publicity Specialists (2)
Assists in publicizing events with many forms of advertising such as painted banners, posters, as well as weekly distribution of flyers, EvCC this week, and other materials. You never know what creative advertising options these students will come up with next!! (open when needed)
Executive Council and Student Programs Board are paid positions for 12-14 hours per week. Other listings may vary in the number of hours per week. All Student Activities positions pay $8.50 per hour.

Requirements for all Student Activities Positions (unless otherwise described):
- Must be currently enrolled in 10 credit hours.
- Must currently have a quarterly and cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5.
