Graduation and Commencement Information
The Graduation Ceremony and Reception for 2010 will be held:
Friday, June 11, 2010 at 7pm at the Comcast Arena in Everett.
The Graduation Committee, chaired by the ASB Vice President of Public Relations in Student Activities, coordinates, plans and implements EvCC’s graduation and reception each year.
The Graduation Bulletin, which has more information about the ceremony, tickets, caps & gowns, etc. will be available in the Student Activities Office, Parks 209 near the end of Winter Quarter/beginning of Spring Quarter.
Ordering your Cap and Gown
During spring quarter, you can order your cap and gown at the EvCC Bookstore. Payment of $25.95 plus tax (price may be adjusted for 2010) is due at the time of your order. The Bookstore will post a notice when caps and gowns are ready for pickup. Students may pick up their cap, gown, and tickets at the Bookstore once this notice is posted. A $10 late fee will be charged for all orders.
Picking up Your Tickets
When you pick up your cap and gown from the Bookstore, you will recieve tickets for the Commencement ceremony. The tickets are free, and you may recieve as many tickets as you need. A ticket is required for guests to attend the ceremony. For graduates, your cap and gown are your admission ticket into The Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center.
Information for Graduates
Are you planning to graduate? Whether you plan to participate in the annual ceremony or not please check out the diploma application deadlines and follow the diploma application procedures.
Please arrive at The Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center at 6:00pm for robing, line-up and directions regarding the ceremony. Your cap and gown are your admission ticket into The Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center. Please do not bring valuables to the ceremony as dressing rooms/bathrooms do not have security for valuables.

Information for Guests
A ticket will be required for admission into the Commencement Ceremony. Outside food or drink, helium balloons, tripods and air horns are NOT permitted in The Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center.
There will be a section reserved for ADA seating as well as wheelchair accessible seating. We request that only one guest accompany each person requiring wheelchair accessible seating.
For the hearing impaired FM Machines will be available for check out at the Guest Services table at the main entrance. You will need photo identification in order to check out the FM Machines. There will also be interpreters at the event for graduates and guests with hearing impairments.
Parking
There are about 6,000 parking spaces within walking distance of The Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center. Parking options include:
- Substantial free on-street parking which surrounds The Comcast Arena in all directions.
- Large public garages and lots in various locations around The Comcast Arena , including:
- 1200 space County Garage across the street
- 400 space Port Gardner Garage
- 500 space Everpark Garage
- 1150 space Everett Station parking
- Many private off-street parking lots within a few blocks of the Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center.
