“Well shake it up baby now!” Summer is fast approaching and Student Activities has invited a blast from the past to EvCC’s annual Spring Fling that will make you want to twist and shout. Local Seattle-based Beatles tribute band, British Export, is coming to rock n’ roll your end-of-quarter blues away! This year’s Fling theme is “Yellow Submarine”- so don your yellow ascot and bellbottoms (if only with your imagination) and come out for a rollicking good time. Student Programs Board will be giving away free ice cream, popsicles and sunglasses to keep you cool, a caricature artist will be on campus to sketch your portrait, and you’ll have one last chance to check out a campus club fest before the 2012-2013 school year comes to an end.
British Export has toured nationally and internationally as a renowned Beatles tribute for over a decade. These four close friends have been voted the top Beatles tribute three times in a row at Beatlefest in both New York and Chicago. Though they’ve travelled the world keeping the memory of the Beatles alive, they love performing most in their home- the Pacific Northwest- and are excited to put on a flashback show for Everett Community College students of all ages! Please come celebrate with Student Activities, EvCC’s clubs and the Beatles- Wednesday, May 29th from 11 am to 1 pm!
