Everett Community College's accounting department and AARP are teaming up to offer free tax preparation to middle- and low-income taxpayers, especially those age 60 and older. Tax clinics will be offered Jan. 28 until April 15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at EvCC's Rainier Hall, Room 104. The college is located at 2000 Tower St.

Everett Community College's 2010 Artist and Lecture Series includes three dynamic performances of music from around the world - all for free. The series starts on Feb. 19 with Sonos, continues April 8 with Ballet Folklorico Mexico and ends with the Northstar Dance Company May 16.
